In the early-morning hours of August 29th, 1996, police and firefighters responded to reports of a house fire on W Junaluska Drive in South Richmond, Virginia. Inside the one-story brick home were the deceased bodies of a 34-year-old woman and her 7-year-old daughter, both stabbed to death. This is the story of Cynthia and Heather Johnson.
